Purchases & Subscriptions

How purchases work

WhatsWeb is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and every purchase or subscription is processed directly by Apple or Google — never by us. This means billing, renewals, cancellations and refunds are all governed by the store where you bought the app. This page explains how our subscriptions and free trials work, and how to request a refund.

Subscription plans

WhatsWeb offers weekly, monthly and annual subscriptions. Each plan unlocks the same premium features and renews automatically at the end of its period unless you cancel. The exact price for your region and plan is always shown inside the app and on the store listing before you confirm — you are never charged without seeing the price first.

Free trial

Some plans include a free trial so you can use and test WhatsWeb before being charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts into a paid subscription and the first charge is applied. To avoid being billed, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends through your store account settings.

Managing and cancelling your subscription

You can view, change or cancel your subscription at any time directly in the store. On iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current paid period.

Refunds

Because payments are processed by Apple and Google rather than by us, we cannot issue refunds ourselves. Refund requests must be submitted to the store where the purchase was made, and each store reviews and approves them at its own discretion.

Refunds on iOS (App Store)

To request a refund for a purchase made on an Apple device, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, select the item, and choose "Request a refund". You can also open the App Store, tap your profile, and review your purchase history. Apple decides whether the request qualifies under its policies.

Refunds on Android (Google Play)

Google Play generally allows an automatic refund within 48 hours of purchase through your order history at play.google.com. After 48 hours, you can still request a refund from Google, which will review it case by case. Open Google Play, go to "Payments & subscriptions", select the order and follow the refund steps.

Eligibility

Refund eligibility is determined solely by Apple and Google according to their terms and your local consumer-protection laws. We do not influence their decisions and cannot guarantee that any specific request will be approved.

Processing time

Once a store approves a refund, the amount is returned to your original payment method. Processing times vary by store, bank and payment provider, and typically take a few business days.
